A: We are encouraging those who would like to dress up in red, white, and blue. Let’s have fun together celebrating our nation’s independence!
A: Yes. The Freedom 5K is perfect for families to be able to run or walk this together. Please just be courteous of the other runners and walkers around you, especially on narrow sections of the course.
A: Yes. There will be one aid station handing out water about 1/2 half way through the course.
A: There are restrooms and showers available at the start/finish line. No restrooms on the course.
A: While we all love our 4 legged friends we are asking that you please leave your dogs at home, to ensure their safety and the safety of our participants and parade audience.
A: You are welcome to join any of our training runs. We meet every Saturday morning at 8:00, at Main St. Coffee. 215 E Main st. Molalla, Or 97038. We have groups for different ability levels. If you are looking for a training programs and your are just starting out, here are a couple of good options: our own Strive for 5, Couch to 5K, Frontrunner Training and Runner’s World.
Q: I love to help out. How can I volunteer?
A: We love our volunteers! Our race wouldn’t happen without them. There are many shifts and jobs available from stuffing goodie bags, registration, parking, handing out water and many more.
A: Yes. Our start/finish line is very close to the end of the parade route. Depending on how quickly the parade moves along, and how quickly you finish the race you should have time to watch the parade.
A: Our locker rooms at the start/finish line have showers for our racers to use. You can clean up and enjoy the rest of your day!
A: Yes. Results will be available minutes after crossing the finish line!

After the race all of our participants are invited to stick around and watch the parade. And if you want to make a day of it, Molalla has some great restaurants and Main Street Coffee with free wi-fi where you can relax as you wait to attend one of the best rodeo’s around: The Molalla Buckaroo.
